About Me

My journey into interior design began as a personal project when I undertook a single storey extension and renovation of my own home. The process sparked an interest in the world of interiors and opened my eyes to the limitless possibilities of designing spaces. I have subsequently immersed myself in the world of interiors where I have completed a diploma in Interior Design, and created a home Instagram account, where I am continually updating my current home and renovation project.
My degree in Graphic Design led to me embarking on a very fulfilling, and ongoing teaching career. Throughout my twenty years in design education, I believe I have honed my skills in understanding people's needs and preferences and also can utilise my understanding of visual language, colour theory and art history. My educational background, coupled with more recent interior experiences, has shaped my design philosophy. I believe that a well-designed space can have a profound impact on an individual's emotions, productivity, and overall well-being. My approach is characterised by a balance between functionality, aesthetics and cost, always considering the needs and preferences of my clients as the driving force behind each project.
I really believe that there is a market for affordable and down to earth advice on interior design that doesn't need to be intimidating or break the bank!
